What Is The Worst Thing That Could Happen Today?

“God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can,
and
the wisdom to know the difference.”
(By:

When I find my self worrying about things beyond my control and beyond my ability to alter a situation, I stop and take a deep breath and whisper that simple prayer.
I realize I am wrecking my health and well being by anxiety.
Now?
I no longer have to wake up in the middle of the night gasping for
air.
I
take pleasure in my food. A mask disappeared from me.
Now
I can appreciate more the beauty of the world each passing day.

You will worry about will never happen according
to Dale Carnegie the famous author of the best selling book “How to
Stop Worrying and Start Living.” his example was his terrible fear
of lightning; but realized that the chances
by being killed by lightning in any one year are, according to
National Safety Council, only 1 in 350,000.
What
Is Worry?
The tendency to worry and look at life from a negative point of view often plays a major role in both the development and maintaining of anxiety and worry related problems according to Reneau Z. Peurifoy, M,A., M.F.T Author of Anxiety, Phobias & Panic.
The
term used by psychologist to describe worry is negative anticipation,
defined as the tendency to dwell on unpleasant or fear-some events
that might occur in the future. Because the self-talk generated by
this type of worry often begins with “what if,” it is also
called what-if thinking.

How
to Stop Worrying and Start Living
My favorite book written by my favorite author Dale Carnegie. His proven techniques have helped millions to adopt new mental attitudes that lead to security and happiness, teaching them to break the worry habit
Dale
suggest:
1)
Shut the door of the past and future.
Stay
In The Present
2)
See the funny side of life
3)
Keep busy. The worried person must lose
himself
in action. (Idle hands make evil
minds)
4)
Examine the situation: What are the
chances
according to the law of
of
averages, that this event will
ever
occur
5)
Count your blessings- not your troubles.
6)
Forget yourself by becoming interested in others.
7)
Everyday do a good deed that will put a smile of joy on
someone’s face.
These inspired me to go on in life despite of
everything
that hinders my way. Of course I still
worry,
but my main business is not about the
future;
It is about what lies clearly at hand and what
I
can presently do.
I
always bear in mind that; The future is today
The
Law of Averages is the law that conclude
the number of times a thing will happen in fraction
to the number of times that the
thing manifest.
The
Law of Averages is used by all life insurance companies to regulate
the death rate of a given number of people at a given age. It is the
scientific principle on which to compute all mortality tables. Why?
Because a given number of people are exposed to death at all times,
and therefore, a certain number of deaths will happen each year, with
absolute precision.
This fact, plus the rate of interest earned on the premiums
collected, determines the cost of the life insurance per year.

This is the job of an Actuary.
Actuaries
assemble and analyze data to estimate the probability and likely cost
of the occurrence of an event such as death, sickness, injury,
disability, or loss of property.
They
spread
out
by
reason.
Notice
how reasonably
things in nature grow and develop. Nothing is accidental. They
develop in natural
order
and unfold in perfect materialization.
The
Laws of the Universe cannot fail. To fail would be
a violation of God's own principles or call it of Supreme being if
you will. This is impossible. Does the Law of Gravitation fail? Grab
a ball and drop it on the ground, see what happens? This law is
uniformly on the job even though you are not aware of it.
The
Law of Physics, the Law of Chemistry, the Law of Mathematics, or any
other fundamental law is constantly available for our use.
All
of us moves through our daily lives with different risks, Individual
needs to worry depends on a variety of factor, including age, places
where we live, how much we go out, how much we travel, the people we
meet, the time we are in a place when a disaster or accident will
occur.
Here is an interesting fact; it might sound funny but this is an actuarial fact. Dr James K. Hammit, professor of Economics at the Harvard School of Public Health In the U.S. Noted this:
It’s
estimated that 150 people around the world die annually from falling
coconuts. That is more than double the estimated 62 annual sharks
attack worldwide.
Why then should we worry about this facts?
Well,
if you are a person who regularly swims in shark-infested waters and
you never stand under a coconut tree, then the average difference
definitely will not apply to you.
Hows
that for Law of Averages and definition of WORRY?
