How
You Can Ignore An Insult
Let me borrow a quote from Judith Martin;
When people start hurling insults at you, you know their minds are closed and there's no point in debating. You should disengage yourself as quickly as possible from the situation. Sounds logical right?
Think
of all the anxiety you could prevent and the weight you could remove
if you made the choice to disregard a trivial misdeed or a petty
slander, or a casual slur-or even a deliberate one.
Our response to the direction of our daily activity are optional, and we always have a choice.
The
next instance someone is pushy with you, decline to care about it.
Its
your discretion. Or prefer to smile, or even create humor out of it
(But do this when the provoker is not around of-course)
